R&D Strength

Maco Group Corporation attaches great importance to the construction of its technological innovation system, and makes comprehensive arrangements in terms of organizational structure, institutional establishment, fund guarantee, and creating an innovation environment, to build hard strength with science and technology and lead the development of the industry.

1 Establishment of R&D System

Maco Group Corporation has set up its enterprise technology center, which consists of 11 departments, including Mortar R&D Department, Adhesive R&D Department, Coating R&D Department, and Analysis & Testing Center. The members are the directors of the professional technical departments and other technical backbone experts, who are responsible for the establishing the Technology Center and the Group's technical innovation work, and formulating the Company's product development and technical strategies. Maco Group Corporation was awarded the Beijing Municipal Enterprise Technology Center in 2014.

2 Input of R&D Funds

Maco Group Corporation has input the research and development funds of exceeding 3% of the enterprise's annual sales revenue for many years, and nearly RMB 100 million Yuan for the accumulative investment of scientific research and development funds over the past three years, to ensure the normal progress of scientific research and development activities of the Technology Center.

3 Construction of R&D Team

Maco Group Corporation's R&D team is composed of 70 core R&D personnel, 95% of whom have a bachelor’s degree or above, and the number of people with a doctorate degree or overseas study background has been increasing year by year. Several backbone R&D personnel have been awarded the titles of “Regional Outstanding Talent” and “Industrial Outstanding Talent” for many times.

4 National Accredited Analysis and Testing Qualifications

The Analysis & Testing Center set up by Maco Group Corporation has become the national accredited laboratory of China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS). It has the testing ability of 111 indicators in 19 sub-categories in 6 major categories, including decoration materials, mortar, cement, adhesive, waterproof materials and hazardous substances in materials, making it the leading level in the industry.The Analysis & Testing Center set up by Maco Group Corporation has become the national accredited laboratory of China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS). 5 Advanced R&D Instruments and Devices

Maco Group Corporation owns professional instruments, devices, and testing equipment, including the pilot production line of mortar, pilot production line of adhesive, rheometer, gas chromatograph, liquid chromatograph, gas chromatography - mass spectrometry, wetting angle tester, laser particle-size distribution tester, ultrasonic setting time tester, early shrinkage tester for thin-layer mortar, coating color mixing machine, small coating dosing system, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, automatic color mixing machine, double rotary blending machine, and other research and development, and testing systems. In order to cooperate with the research and development projects related to the emission of indoor pollutant VOCs, Maco Group Corporation has invested more than RMB 10 million Yuan in purchasing the most advanced VOC emission testing environmental chamber from the United States and Europe, which have become the sharp instrument to control the environmental performance of products.
